I am an Exeter poet and photographer with an online following stretching between America and the former Soviet states, offering workshops and poetry advice to various groups in Devon.
In June 2011 I exhibited my poetry as part of a ‘War Art’ exhibition held in Exeter run by the internationally acclaimed artist John McDermott. National press and radio coverage ensured that the War Art exhibition’s aims of raising awareness of Combat Related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder reached an estimated audience of 175,000 people.
This was further to our ‘Other Worlds’ collaboration at the John Creasey Museum in Salisbury in November 2010.
During 2011 I have run various workshops, these ranged from one for homeless people in April 2011 to a poets’ event in December 2011.
In July 2010 and 2011 poetry written on site was performed at the ‘Trade Winds’ event at the famous ‘Ways With Words’.
As part of Exeter’s ‘Spacex’ gallery’s ‘Random Acts of Art’ in April 2010 I was a member of the West Quarter Collaborative writing a Street Poem that formed part of this exhibition/event.
